Obituary

Willard Jack Clark, 73, of Big Piney passed away September 23, 2016 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jack was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming July 19, 1943 to Willard and Blanche Clark. He started first grade in the Kemmerer area then for the next three years he attended school in Pinedale. After moving to the Piney area he became a Big Piney Puncher where he graduated high school in 1961. He played football all through high school being named all state player for two years in a row. After graduation Jack worked on oil rigs in the area. He worked for Belco, then El Paso which later became Williams Field Service. Jack married his lifelong sweetheart Ruth Boyce October 1, 1962 in Randolph, Utah; together they were blessed with three children; Laura Ann, James William and Willard Lee. After 30 years of work in the petroleum industry Jack retired in 1998. He loved snow machining, boating, and other outdoor activities which he thoroughly enjoyed until deciding to drive school bus. He loved the kids and socializing with his coworkers. Jack is survived by his wife Ruth; daughter Laura (Lowell) Clark; son Willard Clark; two grandchildren Leo Mac (Hanna) Lucero and Sara Lucero; three great-grandchildren Hanna Daily, Elias and Laney Lucero; brother Ronald (Kathy) Davison and sister Jill (Gordon) Overbeck. He is preceded in death by his son James Clark; parents Willard and Blanche Clark; sisters June Vosler and Norma Jean Potter. A graveside service will be held Friday September 30 at 11:00 A.M. at the Plainview Cemetery in Big Piney.
