Willa Beth Buono, 88, former resident of Rock Springs, WY passed away January 31, 2016 at the Sublette Center in Pinedale. Willa Beth was born December 24, 1927 in Rock Springs, WY to Anthony and Lorraine M. Guy Buono. She graduated from Rock Springs High School and from there went to work for Mountain Bell Telephone Company. She worked her whole career as a bookkeeper for the telephone company until her retirement several years ago. Willa Beth was always a faithful and practicing Christian and was a parishioner at The 1st United Methodist Church of Rock Springs. She enjoyed singing and sang with her church choir; she also enjoyed fishing at her uncle's cabin at Fox Park near Laramie. She is survived by her sister Pat Coleman of Pinedale; sister-in-law Nellie Johnson of Pinedale; nephews Hal, Heath, and Bradley Johnson and niece Mackenzie Johnson and several cousins and great-nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Lorraine Buono; grandparents John and Willa Guy; brother Charlie Johnson and twin sister Wilma Buono. A memorial funeral service will be held Saturday February 13th at 11:00 A.M. at Covill Funeral Home.
