Wayne Parsons Schwab, 88, of Pinedale, WY passed away Tuesday evening April 21st at the Avenues Assisted Living Center in Salt Lake City, UT with his family at his side. Wayne was born October 21, 1926 in Smoot, WY to Herbert and Eva Schwab. Right before he graduated high school he joined the Army and served during the conclusion of WWII. He married his lifelong sweetheart Bessie Radakovich October 28, 1950 in Smoot, WY. To this union three children were born; Dwayne, Mike and Carol. After his military service he and Bessie moved to Pinedale and took up a homestead. Wayne worked most of his life in maintenance of the schools in Pinedale. He loved the mountains and lakes of the surrounding area; he enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He loved being with his family, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the sparkle of his eye. Wayne is survived by his children Dwayne (Connie) Schwab, Mike (Gwen) Schwab and Carol Schwab; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Bessie and two brothers Reed & Dell Schwab. A graveside funeral service and military honors will be held Saturday April 25th at 3:00 P.M. in the Pinedale Cemetery.
