Trudy Anne Fry, 73, of Pinedale passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening February 24, 2026, at the Pinedale Hospital.

Trudy Anne Rima Fry was born on March 3, 1952, to Orioen (Tude) Marshall Rima and Annie Estella Cox Rima. She had 2 brothers Ronald Leon Rima (deceased) and William Edward Rima and one sister Kathy Marie Dunning.

Trudy grew up loving Music she played music for the Church In one way or another since she was 16 years old. That is 57 years of playing hymns at church almost every week. She loved playing piano and the organ; she said practicing Hymns weekly was one of her greatest joys.

Trudy Graduated from Randolph High in Utah in 1970. She was the member of the yearbook club during high school and enjoyed it as one of the many things she loved to do. Trudy worked many places over the years, she was a very hard worker, and she enjoyed working there is nothing she wasn't willing to do or try. Some of the jobs she held were at Office outlet, Lakeside lodge, BOCCES, Pinedale natural gas, and at one point even wrote the Sherrif's report and town gossip at the local newspaper. Her latest Job was at the Pinedale hotel. Where she did a little of everything from serving breakfast, to endlessly folding sheets. She did it with a smile and was adored by her co-workers. Trudy also spent years helping others, and volunteered for many, many years at The Red Cross.

Trudy was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. She held many callings over the years but her very favorite was being in the primary. She loved helping with the children in her ward and loved watching them learn and grow. More than anything Trudy loved the Gospel and prayed often. She always said she prayed at least twice a day, when she was driving and in the shower. She had a strong testimony of prayer and said it was because of her daughter and 2 grandkids.

Trudy loved learning and was very involved in Learning emergency preparedness the last few years. It was very important to her, her family stayed safe no matter what. Trudy's pride and joy was her daughter Rachael. They we inseparable, best friends. Trudy said since the day Rachael was born there was not a day they did not talk to each other. Trudy has been a big part in also helping Rachael with her 2 beautiful children Marshal and Nikki. You would Often see her hand in hand with both of them walking into church or in a local store. Trudy loved her grandchildren more than life itself and openly showed them affection and introduced to all of her friends. She was a very proud grandma. For those of us who got to know Trudy well, we knew how wonderful she was, how happy with Life she was. What a mischievous sense of humor she had. She would laugh often and openly and could tell a good off colored joke or a funny story with the best of them. She loved old westerns and quoted them often to her friends. Trudy brightened all of our lives and made them happier. She loved people and it showed. We will miss her sweet smile and laugh and know she will continue to watch over us. We look forward to seeing her again after this life and know it will be a joyful reunion. A funeral service was held Saturday February 28th at 11:00 AM at the Pinedale LDS Church; interment followed in the Pinedale Cemetery.
