Tristin Alan
Peden
Jul 1, 2000 — Jun 9, 2020
Big Piney
Tristin Alan Peden was born on July 1, 2000 in Ogden, Utah. He was the first born to Terry and Brandy (Walker) Peden. He was second oldest of the five boys including, Cody, Garret, Trigger, and Gage. The family made their home in Big Piney, where Tristin lived and loved the mountains and deserts it offered.
His love of all things hunting and fishing started even before he could walk. One of his favorite foods as a toddler was "bucking deer steak". Tristin was known for his signature smile and bright blue eyes. Anyone who met him was sure to hear about one or several of his hunting and fishing stories. His favorite quote was "Hunting is not a blood sport, it's a sport that is in my blood". Along with hunting and fishing he also enjoyed riding snowmobiles with his family in the winter and spending time with his beloved German Shepherd pup "Shadow". If he wasn't camping or out shooting something, he could be found helping out on the Hughes and Downs Ranch or his latest project of building a 6.5 Grendel rifle. Or he could be found helping someone. Tristin would give everything he had to help even a stranger with his huge heart of gold. He was truly a breath of fresh air to everyone he encountered. He had a special role of Uncle "Tistin" to his nieces and nephews. He was known to have a love/hate relationship with coyotes.
He is preceded in death by Paternal Great Grandparents Ralph Peden, Dorothy Schoen Peden, Great Grandparents Archie and Betty (Pennington) Holliday, Maternal grandparents Grant and Dorothy (Angwin) Walker, George and Betty Harper and Special friend Taytan Wing.
He is survived by his parents Terry and Brandy (Walker) Peden, brothers Cody(Courtney), Garret, Trigger and Gage Peden. Grandparents Gary Peden of Lyman Wy, Kay (Holliday) Peden of Lyman, WY, Gary Walker of Lyman, Wy, Dan and Marilyn (Harper) Watson of Fort Bridger, Wy, Great Grandparents Don and DeeAnn (Douglas) Lassle of Lyman Wy, and Lyle and Sandy Ranta of Basin, Wy.
