Timothy Lee Murphy, 64, was born in Evanston, Wyoming on August 31, 1961, to Wilma and Edward Murphy. He was the youngest of three sons. He spent his whole life in Marbleton, Wyoming.

He graduated from Big Piney High school in 1980.

Tim helped his dad when he was young build many of the original roads in Sublette County. Later he went on to work in the oilfield and was working for the town of Marbleton upon his death.

November 25, 2001, Tim married his wife, Lyn. They've spent 24 years together.

Tim loved to hunt and fish, he was a rockhound, he rode motorcycles and he always had time to talk to the kids.

Tim is survived by his wife, Lyn, his brother Vaughn, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, grandchildren and two rotten dogs.

Everything he did was amazing. He was a teacher by example and taught good work ethics, kindness and moral integrity. His quiet strength will be missed and remembered forever.

There will be a memorial for Tim held March 28th at 2:00 p.m. at the Marbleton Senior Center in Marbleton.
