Ted Frederick Reinwald, 88, of Pinedale passed away Monday morning, March 28, 2022 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Ted was born August 6, 1933 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Harold W. and Pearl E. (Hoverson) Reinwald. He grew up in Salem, Oregon where he attended Sacred Heart Acadamy. After high school Ted served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his military service he enrolled at Oregon State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and became certified to teach K-12. He taught for two years in Sisters, OR before marrying the love of his life Nancy (Lewis) Reinwald on June 12, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they settled down in Pinedale to raise their family and Ted taught school for over thirty years.

Ted took a sabbatical leave in 1972 to attend Utah State University and earned his Master of Education degree. Ted loved teaching and his students; he enjoyed athletics, horsemanship, the mountains and the outdoors. Above all, Ted loved his wife Nancy and his two boys Mark and Stan; he will be dearly missed.

Ted is survived by his two sons Mark Reinwald, Stan (Julie) Reinwald, granddaughter Samantha Reinwald and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Nancy.

A memorial service and military honors will be held Saturday June 4 ^th at 1:30 p.m. at the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library.
