Lyle Steven Campbell "Steve", 73, of Pinedale, Wyoming passed away at his home Saturday morning August 11, 2018. Steve was born October 3, 1944 in Montrose, Colorado to Avery Lyle and Betty Mae Campbell. He grew up and went to school in Grand Junction and graduated from Grand Junction High School. After high school he attended some college but soon joined the United States Marine Corps. He served his country during the Vietnam War Era from 1964 to 1967. After the service he married his sweetheart Donna Lee Kenney on July 7, 1967 in Grand Junction, Colorado. They were blessed with two children Stephanie and Don. Steve worked most of his life as an electrician in the western region at Jim Bridger Power Plant, Pacific Corp and what is now Rocky Mountain Power. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved the mountains and to hunt and fish all over Sublette County. He was a good Christian man who loved his family and he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife Donna Campbell; daughter Stephanie (Jim) Germany; son Donald Campbell; three grandchildren Micah and Dayln Germany and Nick Campbell; Brother Avery (Maggie) Campbell and sister Ruth (Bob) Scales. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; brother Brian Campbell and sister Janice Potter. Cremation has taken place and there will be a military memorial service which will be held in the Spring of 2019 in Grand Junction, Colorado.
