Obituary

Shirley Ann Stach, 73, of Pinedale, WY passed away Monday morning January 12, 2015 at the Sublette Retirement Center. Shirley was born February 14, 1941 in Aberdeen, SD. She was adopted by her loving parents Raymond and Thecla "Helen" Schmitz.

She attended school in Evansville, MN. She married the love of her life John G. Stach May 6, 1958 in Brandon, MN. To this union were born 6 children. She and her young family followed John across the country and globe during his military service; they lived in Colorado, Kentucky, Alabama, Germany, Washington, Texas and Minnesota before moving to Pinedale for John's work in 1984.

She was a member of the V.F.W. Women's Aux and the P.C.C.W. and member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Shirley enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and also enjoyed knitting, crochet, cooking, reading, arranging her angels and cross stitching (which she won several awards at the fair).

She is survived by her husband John; children Carmen (Doug) Brunsvold, Raymond (Dawn) Stach, Karen (Joe) Leegaard, Gwendolyn (Lorin) Tabb, Barbara (Wayne) Ehlke and Robert (Deb) Stach; 19 grandchildren and 20+ great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday morning January 16 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Rosary will take place Thursday evening Jan. 15 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church. Interment will follow the services in the Pinedale Cemetery.
