Shirley Ann Jensen passed away from natural causes at the Heritage Home in Pinedale, Wyoming on November 13, 2025.  She had been a resident of the nursing home since March 2022.

Shirley was born October 6, 1933 in Rickreall, Oregon to Robert Hales Walker and Clarissa Ann (Vashaw) Walker.  She was one of four children (Rebecca, Elsie, Shirley, and John).  She married John Roger Jensen in Portland, Oregon on October 26, 1956.  Shirley and John made their home in Portland, Oregon where they had two children: John Roger Jensen II (wife Karen) of Tillamook, Oregon and Leane (Jensen) Gray (husband Jim) of Marbleton, Wyoming.  In June 1980, John and Shirley moved to LaGrande, Oregon where they purchased a corner grocery store (Jensen's Market).  In July 2014, Shirley moved to Marbleton, Wyoming to live closer to her daughter and son-in-law.

Shirley is survived by her son, daughter, and nieces.  She will be cremated without services, per her request.
