Sheena Johnson was born in St. Mary Idaho on January 26, 1976, to Ray and Deborah Kay Ammons. The family of five, with her bothers Chad of St. Anthony and Clint now of North Carolina, grew up in St, Anthony. Being the middle child and only girl made her a strong, witty and wise soul. Her father taught her how to be proud, resilient, and resourceful in all situations. It was her grandmother and mother that instilled in Sheena her faith, cultivating her heart, her love for life, and for Jesus. She learned how to persevere and confidently overcome any adversity that came her way while staying kind and humble. She believed she could make a difference and change things--so she did.

In 1993, Sheena graduated high school and, although she went to school with her husband Robert Johnson, of Pinedale, they didn't officially meet until 1998. It only took two weeks for Robert to seal the deal and make this spit-fire, take-no-stuff woman of faith his mate. Together they took a leap and as fate would have it, the two made vows of forever on February 20, 1998.

Together they shared a lifetime of love and raised a family of their own with three children: Tiana of St Loise; Stetson of Big Piney; and Jessie of Pinedale. The three children then added eight grandchildren, the youngest arriving in time at only 4 months old to meet her grandma. Abbasi, Stephyn, Elizabeth, Tessa, and Alaina of Illinois, and Annelise, Wyatt, and Abby of Big Piney were Sheena's pride and joy, for she loved her family most of all.

As an active resident of Sublette County many people knew and were blessed to know Sheena--from her time spent at Moosely Mail and her smile that greeted those who came through the door. To Sundays at the Church of the Resurrection where Sheena attended regularly. She had a heart of service dedicating time by helping others. She served as a board member and as President for the nonprofit Bridges of Sublette County. It was here she made a voice for those in poverty as an advocate for change through education. She was a true vessel of God's love. Those who met Sheena were blessed just in knowing her. Her faith in Jesus Christ was unwavering and on May 25, 2024 at 7:55pm God called her home. She has reunited with her mother and grandparents. For that we rejoice.

She was a remarkable soul- daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.

Her love was a beacon of hope. Her hope changed the world.
