Sarah Jane "Sally" Schwab, 66, of Pinedale, Wyoming passed away peacefully at her home Monday May 9, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer. Sally was born July 2, 1949 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Clarence and Jean Crater. She moved with her family to Ogden, Utah when she was 14 and later moved to Pinedale at age 24. After moving to Pinedale she went to work for Faler's General Store where she worked for many years until shortly after it was sold to Ridley's. She married Bruce Schwab June 30, 1975 in Pinedale. Sally enjoyed reading books, especially murder mysteries, camping, boating at Fremont Lake, and being outdoors. Sally's life was her family; she loved being with them all and was especially effected when her precious granddaughter Sarah passed away several years ago. Sally is survived by her husband Bruce Schwab; children Angelique Chaffin and Walker (Lisa) Schwab; grandchildren Travis and Tanner Toussaint and Mikaela Soleberg Schwab. She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Jean Crater and special granddaughter Sarah Chaffin. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday May 14th at 11:00 A.M. at the Pinedale Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Make-A-Wish at wish.org
