Phillip Eck Engler, 62, of Pinedale, Wyoming passed away at his home July 10, 2016. Phil was born August 3, 1953 in Jackson, Wyoming to Paul and Dolores Engler he attended school in Jackson Hole. Phil spent his childhood exploring Munger Mountain and working on family ranches and guiding hunters during the fall months. On Dec. 2, 1977 Phil & Sno Ann were married and together raised 2 sons and 1 daughter. Phil's childhood experience brought him to his dream of having his own outfitting business. Together with his brother George for 10 years, they owned and operated Hidden Basin Outfitters. In 2000 Phil left his childhood home to move to Big Piney and work at the Wyoming 3 Bar Ranch. Phil's love of ranching continued until he retired in 2014. He is survived by his wife Sno Ann, three children, Cody, Cara and Charlie, five grandchildren Brody, Savana, Suzanna, Sage and Clay, two brothers George and Randy Engler and one sister Tammie Meeks. He is preceded in death by his parents Dolores and Paul Engler, and sister, Cleo Engler. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday July 23, at the Daniel School House in Daniel Wyoming.
