Michael "Mike" McKelvey, 68, of Pinedale, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home on August 20, surrounded by his loving family.

Born with a hardworking spirit and a generous heart, Mike built his life around family, community, and the wide Wyoming skies he called home. For more than 30 years, he owned and operated Mike's Heating in Jackson, WY, serving countless families and businesses with the same honesty, reliability, and craftsmanship that defined him as a person. His work was more than just a livelihood; it was a testament to his dedication to others and his pride in doing things right.

While Mike took great pride in his business, his true joy was found outside of work. His family remembers his steady presence, and his love of life's simple pleasures. His favorite thing to do was to be on a boat drinking a cold one and catching a big one. Whether on the water, at the family table, or sharing a story with friends, Mike's warmth and steadiness were always close at hand.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; his children, Michael and Kaylin; and his treasured grandchildren, Leo and Lucas, who brought endless pride and joy to his life. He also leaves behind his siblings, Susan, Mardi, and Jim, along with many extended family members and friends who will carry his memory forward.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to honor the man who gave so much to those around him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you raise a glass, cast a line, and remember Mike in the way he would have wanted: with love, laughter, and a spirit of togetherness.
