Lori was born in Newport Oregon on January 10, 1955. She passed away at her home December 13, 2021 in Big Piney Wyoming. She spent her childhood on the coast in Oregon where she met her future husband in 1971.  She married Curtis Hendricks in 1973 at the Grange Hall in Yachats. After the wedding, they moved out to Big Piney Wyoming where they began the next part of their lives.

She bore and raised three children: Jennifer, Curtis M, and Bryan. She loved to help her church family and anyone else who was in need. She also loved camping in the Mountains of Wyoming and spending time with her grandchildren.

Lori is survived by her mother Carol Dorning, her brother Chris Dorning and her husband Curtis Hendricks of 48 years. Lori is also survived by her three children and their families; Michael and Jennifer (Hendricks) Petty and their four children Justice, Andrew, Jadon and Aaron; Curtis M. Hendricks and partner Alisha Moates and children Kayin, Jack and Tayla; Bryan and Justine (Smith) Hendricks and their children Hadassah and Malakiy.

On Friday December 17, 2021 there will be a viewing beginning 12:00 pm and funeral services beginning at 1:00 pm at Truth Ministries in Big Piney, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews at www.IFCJ.org.
