Loren James Wilcox, 56, of Pinedale was born September 11, 1969 to Leslie F. Wilcox and Barbara J. (Wilcox) Blue in Flint, Michigan. He grew up with his brothers in Clio, Michigan.

Loren moved to Wyoming with his family in 1983 where he worked on the family ranch and married and had two sons.

He loved living in Pinedale where he enjoyed inventing and starting new businesses. He was owner of Alert Plus and won the oil and gas award. He lived there for many years until he lost his battle with cancer on August 25, 2026.

He is survived by his daughter Jayelynn (Joseph) Kraus-McCarty, sons Lance Wilcox (Falon) and Trevor Wilcox (Brenna), three grandchildren, brothers Mark Wilcox, Les Wilcox, Larry Wilcox, Lanny Wilcox and Tim Blue, step mother Sherry Wilcox and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marilyn Young, and sister-in-law Debra Wilcox.

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday August 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Pinedale Cemetery.
