Lolla Jean Cramer, 86, passed away August 3, 2018 at the Sublette Center in Pinedale, Wyoming. Lolla was born January 1, 1932, a New Year's baby, in Mountain View, Wyoming to Carl and Eliza Polson. She joined a sister Eunice and three brothers, Andy, Stan and Clyde. Lolla grew up on a ranch in Mountain View. She loved the out-or-doors and horseback riding. When Lolla was 9, her father died. She lived with her mom until she graduated from high school. Lolla went to Salt Lake City to continue her education where she lived with a family as a nanny. She attended and graduated from LDS Business College as a top student in typing and shorthand. After college she took a job in Lander, Wyoming at the State Social Service Office. Here in Lander she met Forrest Cramer, the love of her life. After their courtship they were married in Mountain View on February 17, 1952. A change in jobs for Forrest brought them to Pinedale in 1955 along with their first son, Dennis. Paul and Tim joined the family in the next few years. Unable to have more children, and a desire for a daughter, they adopted Lori in 1967. Lolla and Forrest went into business when they bought the NAPA Auto Parts store in 1962. They ran a successful business with Lolla doing the bookkeeping until 1990 when they retired. Lolla served a term on the school board for Sublette County School District #1. She enjoyed that time. She was always actively involved in her church working with children, youth and the women's organization. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lolla and Forrest served an LDS mission in Chinle, Arizona among the Navajo Nation. Later they moved to Vernal, Utah where they were ordinance workers in the Vernal LDS Temple. They returned to Pinedale in 2008. Lolla was preceded in death by sister Eunice and brothers Andy, Stan and Clyde, her husband Forrest, and a great grandson, Kale. She is survived by her children Dennis (Chris) of Pinedale, Paul (Susan) of Pocatello, Idaho, Timothy of Nikiski, Alaska, and Lori Wells (Wade) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, 20 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, also three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 11th at 1:00 PM at the Pinedale LDS Church. Viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:50 PM at the church. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Forrest in the Pinedale Cemetery following the services.
