Karen Sue Nix, 69, of Boulder, WY passed away at her home Jan. 10th after a courageous battle with cancer. Karen was born April 3, 1945 in Springfield, IL to James and Nellie Ray.

She married her sweetheart Bob Nix Nov. 23, 1994 in Lander. Together they owned and operated a construction company in Casper; she also worked for a time as a ranch cook.

She loved the outdoors, camping and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. She was a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group), and a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband Charles Robert "Bob" Nix, four children Tom (Linda) Turnbell, Tammy (Scott) Johnson, Troy Turnbull and Tracy (Christian) Poland; seven grandchildren Geddy, Easton, Taylor, Taya, T.J. Zeah and Zemi; brother Terry Ray and her dog Marble. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Nellie Ray; and brother Mark Ray.

A memorial funeral service will be held Sat. Jan. 17th at 11:00 A.M. at Covill Funeral Home.
