Joshua Elliott Boman, 36, passed away in Lexington, Kentucky August 24, 2016. Josh was born August 19, 1980 to Gordon and Wendy Boman in Gainesville, FL. Josh attended school in several different states prior to moving back to Pinedale in 1992. He loved playing high school sports and was Male Athlete of the Year his senior year. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. He had a great smile and was always up to some sort of prank. He especially loved sneaking up behind his Granny to scare her. Josh worked in the fiber optics industry for several years and then more recently became a Boilermaker Apprentice in Kentucky. He is survived by his mother, Wendy Boman of Pinedale, WY, his father Gordon Boman of Hillsboro, KY, brother Kelly Boman of Laramie/Pinedale, WY, nephew Rowdy Boman of Laramie, WY, and the most special person in his life, Kim Halleran of Flemingsburg, KY. He also leaves Aunts Faye (Jack) Johnston of Chattanooga, TN., Norma (Tom) Myron of Dubois, WY, Uncles Chet Boman of Moran, WY, Garf Boman of Dubois, WY, Rick (Marena) Boman of Seattle, WA and Gary Boman of St Hilaire, MN. He also leaves cousins Liz (Matt) Crockett of Rock Springs, WY, Greg (Katie) Johnston of Norfolk, VA, Jacquell (Tracy) Gartman of Chattanooga, TN, Connie (Bill) Pilger of Cheyenne, WY. as well as several second cousins. Josh is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Frank and Donna Sweet, Clark and Christine Boman, his cousin Boyd Johnston, Uncles Stuart Sweet and William Boman, Aunt and Uncle Ruth and Arno Cords. A Celebration of Life for Josh will be held at the Pinedale Community United Church of Christ September 29, 2016 at 2PM with lunch to follow after the service at Rendezvous Pointe. The family requests any memorials be donated to the Pinedale Community Church of Christ in Josh's memory.
