Jon Earl Crockett, 44, passed away at his home in Boulder, WY August 24, 2015 after a hard fought four year battle with cancer. Jon was born on March 5, 1971 in Rock Springs, WY to Stephen Michael Crockett and Mary Catherine Crockett. He grew up in Rock Springs and was a graduate of Rock Springs High School with the class of 1989. He went on to attend Whitworth College in Washington and then transferred to the University of Wyoming. Jon married Brandi Nichole Barber on December 30, 1995 in Rock Springs, WY. They had two sons, Cooper and Connor Crockett. Jon was employed at Air Products and Chemicals at the time of his death. Jon loved spending time with his boys, hunting, hiking, and playing guitar. His most recent love was spending time at his gold mine in Atlantic City, Wyoming. Jon bled Brown and Gold and loved his Wyoming Cowboys. Jon is survived by his wife Brandi and sons Cooper and Connor Crockett of Boulder, WY, parents Steve and Cathy Crockett of Mesquite, NV, brothers Matt (Liz) Crockett of Rock Springs and Chris (Sarah) Crockett of Lander, In-laws Dave and Carlene Barber of Rock Springs, sister-in-law Darcee Crum (Joey) of Wasilla, AK, nephews Jacob and Sean and nieces Hannah, Hailey, Kelsey, Abby, Rikki and Rylee, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Dorothy Wales and Lavonne and Harold Crockett. Cremation has taken place. At Jon's request, a celebration of life with his family and friends will be held at a later date.
