John
Doyle
Sep 11, 1938 — Feb 9, 2026
Jackson
John G. Doyle, 87, of Jackson Wyoming, passed peacefully on February 9, 2026, leaving behind a life defined by faith, family, laughter, and quiet strength.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, John answered the call to serve his country in the United States Air Force. That same spirit of dedication carried into every chapter of his life. In the 1970s, he made his home in Jackson, Wyoming, with his children, Shannon and Shawn, and built S & S Services, a respected HVAC and refrigeration business grounded in hard work and integrity.
John's faith was the steady center of his life. Through Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, where he served for many years as a deacon, he offered compassion, guidance, and a listening heart to all who crossed his path. He believed in showing up for people, in kindness given freely, and in the quiet power of doing what is right.
Yet it was his warmth that people remember most — the familiar cadence of his dad jokes, the gentle humor that softened difficult days, and the unmistakable twinkle in his blue Irish eyes that let you know you were loved. His presence made rooms lighter, burdens easier, and moments fuller.
He is survived by his children, Shannon Doyle (Jay Thompson) and Shawn Doyle; his granddaughters, Katherine Doyle and August Marx; and his sister, Patricia (Doyle) Blomquist as well as nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and nieces. His legacy lives on in the lives he shaped, the faith he carried, and the love he gave.
A Catholic Mass celebrating John's life will be held March 14 at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Jackson, Wyoming.
