James W. Newman II was born in Hot Springs, AR on August 2nd, 1979 to Jill Leigh Blakeley and James William Newman and left this life suddenly and unexpectedly on May 15th, 2016. He spent his childhood there where he attended Mountain Pine School and after moving to Luray, VA, finished his education there. Jim loved to travel and made many lifelong friends wherever he went, including Slovakia, where he spent time teaching English, and throughout the States, mostly in kitchens, as he loved to cook. Jim affected and influenced many people throughout his life. He could make them smile when they were down, talk them out of (or sometimes into) crazy ideas. He settled in Pinedale, WY in 2007 working a few kitchen jobs, but finding employment with Teletractors where he learned and enjoyed being an equipment operator. He purchased "Alice", his 1976 Harley, in the fall of 2013 and fell in love. He and his other biker friends and fiancé would go ride at any chance. He was the light and life of any party or group. He enjoyed snowboarding in the winter here at White Pine and in Montana at Snowbowl. He had his life story on his skin and loved getting a new tattoo any chance he got. He is survived by his mother, Jill Leigh Blakeley, step-father Kevin Blakeley, fiancé and love of his life, Emily Dillon, his son Trystan Grant Newman and daughter Izabelle James Angelqiue Newman, grandmother Betty Ann Newman, aunts Paula, Debra, Barbara, and Shellee, uncles Mike, Chuck, Calvin, Billy, Shawn and Jimmy, siblings Travis, David, John, Leah, Rebecca, Sonoma and God-children Ardista Star, Joshua, Skylhar and Cayden. He left behind numerous friends and extended family, blood or otherwise. His father, James Newman, followed him shortly in death. Jim left a hole in many hearts but we take solace that he rides forever free.
