Hazel James, 87, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 in Caldwell, Idaho. She was born in Moreland, Idaho, on April 30, 1928 to Thomas Monroe and Lydda Anna Louk Caldwell. She grew up in and around Idaho Falls. Hazel spent 57 years alongside Carroll James building a ranch and family in Sublette County. Carroll left her side on February 22, 2003. Hazel will be remembered for her strength, determination, humor, and endless love for family and friends. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and filled many callings including serving in the Idaho Falls Temple. Surviving are four children, Carolyn Fox, Steve (Mavis) James, Anna Golden and Kenny (Jannean) James; sister, Berniece Larimer; 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, December 3, 2015 at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street, Idaho Falls. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the Pinedale LDS Ward, Pinedale, Wyoming, under the direction of Covill Funeral Home, 164 N. Bridger Ave., Pinedale. A viewing will be held in the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Pinedale Cemetery.
