Gary George Heuck, 74, of Pinedale passed away January 4, 2023 at his home with his family at his side. Gary was born September 4, 1949 in Sterling, Colorado to George and Betty Jo (Mahaffey) Hueck. He attended school in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1967. Ater high school he went to college at Western Nebraska Community College and Hiram Scott College. And he served in the Army National Guard from 1970 to 1974. He married his sweetheart Cheryl Peterson August 9, 1969 in Morrill, Nebraska and together they raised their two children Gregory Brian Heuck and Tammie Lynn Heuck. Gary was a member of the Pinedale Boat Club, was a councilman on the Pinedale Town Council and Joint Powers Board (Town of Pinedale rep on the P.A.C. Board) and the Tourism Board. He loved the recreation that living in Pinedale provided. He loved to fish and hunt and spending time at the New Fork Lake Cabin and being outdoors with his family. Gary is survived by his Wife Cheryl Heuck, Daughter Tammie Heuck, Granddaughter Mercedes (Riley) Brown and great-grandson Nathan (Springfield, OR), Grandson Bo (Kelsie) Arnold, great granddaughter Blakelee and great grandson Hayes (Pleasant Grove, OR), Brandon Heuck (Pinedale) and Alexander Heuck (Evanston, WY). He is preceded in death by his Parents George and Betty Heuck, Brother Rodney Heuck, and Son Gregory Heuck.
