Douglas Edward London, 65, of Cora, Wyoming passed away August 16, 2023 at the Sublette Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Doug was born April 12, 1958 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to Irvin M. and Delores (Burkett) London. He grew up with three brothers Meade, Russell and Scott. He graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School in 1976. After high school he worked on a reclamation crew, seeding strip jobs for Pennlines Services. In 1991 he followed his dreams and moved to Wyoming to begin a trapping career; eventually he began driving trucks in the oil and gas field. He also worked a bit in the landscaping and construction business in Sublette County. His other interests and job pursuits were carpentry and renovation; he would buy and renovate homes and then sell them when they were fixed up. Doug is survived by his brothers Meade (Linda) London, Russell (Renda) London and Scott (Leanne) London; Nieces & Nephews Shawn (Dana) London, Shannon (Amanda) London, Kara (Ryan) Smith, Corey (Shannon) London and great-nieces and nephews Addison & Sophia London, Damien, Brianna & Ali Smith and Alyssa & Jase London. He is preceded in death by his parents and Niece Amber London. A celebration of life will be held Thursday Sept. 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Covill Funeral Home in Pinedale.
