Dortha Elizabeth Nelson, 100, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning May 4th 2016 at the Sublette Center in Pinedale. Dortha was born November 21, 1915 in Johnstown, Nebraska to Robert and Ethel Rose (Tuner) Gilliland. She married her sweetheart Woodrow LaGrande Nelson in 1954 in Evanston, Wyoming. (He has preceded her in death)She taught school in the Pinedale School District for over 40 years until her retirement in the 1970's. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday May 13th at 10:00 A.M. at the Pinedale Cemetery.
