Donna Joyce (Jones) Osborn, 80, of Marbleton passed away February 2, 2016 in Idaho Falls, ID. Donna was born May 22, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa to John Aaron & Wilma Hazel Jones. Donna moved to Rock Springs from Iowa with her family at a young age when her father took a job at the coal mines in Reliance. Her father hated the work in the mines and as soon as an opportunity arose for ranch work up north he moved his family to Big Piney and worked with Bob Miller on the P L Ranch. She met her lifelong sweetheart James Osborn when he was working in Big Piney in the oil & gas field. They were married Aug. 23, 1954 in Kemmerer, WY. Donna was a lifetime charter member of the 1st Southern Baptist Church of Big Piney. She enjoyed reading and bible study, walks, and working in her flower garden and yard. Donna is survived by her sister, Janice Moss of Glen Rose, TX, brother, Val (Kristy) Jones of Daniel, WY; three children Terry (Dave) Smith of Big Piney, Casey (Sue) Osborn of Sheridan, WY and Vashti (David) Kinnamon of Big Piney, WY. Grandchildren: David (Rhiannon) Smith III, James (Lori) Smith, Trista (Justin) Hays, Hannah (Brian) Barnes, Terah (Phillip) Byington, Casey (Tesha) Osborn, Brandon (Jennifer) Kinnamon, John (TyRea) Kinnamon, Dawson Osborn, Ryan (Stephanie) Kinnamon. Great Grandchildren: Justine Smith, David Smith III, Alyssa (Zach) Heydt, Chelcee (Broc) Serres, Ryan Chabre, Jacquelynn Smith, Falon Hays, Yancey Hays, Lane Marshall, Declan McAffee, Camryn Byington, Bryanna Smith, Brooklyn Gerrvatouski Kinnamon, Alex Osborn, Ty Barnes, Daelyn Smith, Brylea Smith, Addison Kinnamon, Dylon Foster Kinnamon, Hank Osborn, Cash Kinnamon, Dru Kinnamon, Zoe Osborn, Leo Osborn, Stanly Kinnamon, Cora Barnes, Hagan Byington. Great Great Grandchildren: Izabella Heydt, Stetson Serres, Isaac Heydt, Cherish Smith, and Prayson Serres. She is preceded in death by James Osborn (husband), Neale Jones (brother), David Kinnamon (grandson), Josiah Hays (great great grandson). Donna's lasting legacy is the love for the Lord that she shared with everyone that she came into contact with. A funeral service will be held Monday February 8th at 10:00 A.M. at Truth Ministries Church in Big Piney. Following the service she will be laid to rest next to her husband Jim in the Plainview Cemetery.
