David "Boston"
Maynard
Jun 4, 1971 — Jul 1, 2024
Pinedale
David "Boston" Paul Maynard age 53. Born on June 4, 1971 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Died on July 1, 2024, at New Fork Lake Campground. David was born to Joann Adams who has preceded him in death and his father Kevin B. Maynard. David lived most of his life in Worcester, Massachusetts until he and a friend came to Wyoming (which he thought was going to involve a boat ride), to build a log home in 2007. Later that year he met Traci Dykstra and they were married on December 6, 2008. David loved hockey, coaching youth hockey, camping, hiking, playing with his dog Bergi and hanging out with his cat Brandy. David quickly became a prominent member of the community working various jobs until he and his wife started Sublette Seamless in 2016. It was a tough business to get going since the community thought a rain gutter would instantly be torn off with a snow roof slide or even by the Wyoming wind. With David's knowledge and patience in explaining that it would never happen and if it did that he would replace it for free he began to change the community's mind and the business grew. David donated yearly to local charities such as SAFV and Kickin Cancer. David had an extremely large heart and unlimited compassion, and his wife always told him that if someone did not like him that there was something wrong with them. David's loss will not only be felt by his friends and family but the entire Sublette County community that he helped so much. David was survived by his wife Traci Maynard, his mother-in-law Sharon Bien, his brother-in-law Jason Dykstra (his wife Binky Dykstra and nephew Jurian), his sister-in-law Jamie Faler (her husband Bob Griffith), his niece Jayde Faler (her significant other Louis Bellis and great nephew Ivan), his nephew Brent Faler (his wife Keitlee Faler and great nephew Lane), his nephew Vincent Faler (his significant other Jamie Day, great niece Lizzy and great nephew Easton), his father Kevin B. Maynard, his brother Kevin Maynard (his wife Wendy Gallant-Maynard, nephew Joshua, niece Larissa, niece Briana and nephew Shawn). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maynard Family Benefit Account (to help with funeral expenses and Pinedale Youth Hockey) is set up at First Bank of Wyoming and would be appreciated and can be done in person, by calling the bank or via VENMO. Services will be held at Pinedale United Community Church located at 113 South Maybell Avenue, Pinedale, Wyoming 82941, on Friday July 5, 2024, at 10:00 am with food to follow.
