David Christopher De Ruiter Zylker, 31 passed away on November 5, 2022 in Pinedale, Wyoming.

David was born in O'Fallon, Illinois on September 17, 1991 to Richard (Rick) Derk De Ruiter Zylker and Sue Ellon Barnes.

David loved music and sports. He played the violin and played baseball and basketball throughout school.

David worked at The Lodge in Pinedale helping build decks, guiding boat tours around Freemont Lake, and serving as the front desk associate. David had a love for cooking and his passion for cooking led him to being a chef at The Den Restaurant at Daniel Junction.

David was Catholic and had attended Our Lady of Peace.

David loved making people laugh and had a smile for everyone he met. He had a fun-loving personality that made you want to be around him.  He had a deep love for his family and a passion of Atlanta sports.

David is survived by his mom Sue Krumlinde, brother Bryan De Ruiter Zylker, sister Rebecca Carson, paternal grandparents Richard and Clorinda De Ruiter Zylker, maternal grandmother Hazel Owens, uncles on Rick's side, Derek, Michael and Steven Dr Ruiter; aunt and uncles on Sue's side, Cynathia Coomley, Earl and Bruce Barnes; and numerous great-aunts, great- uncles, cousins and relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Richard (Rick) De Ruiter Zylker.

Memorial services for David will be held at a later date to enable friends and family to travel to be in attendance.
