Dan James Hartman, 62, of Pinedale and former resident of Rock Springs, passed away at his home Saturday evening August 28, 2021. Dan was born in Rawlins, Wyoming on February 18, 1959. He was raised and grew up in Laramie and graduated from Laramie High School. He went to work for Mountain Fuel and stayed with the company even as it changed names over the years and worked for them for 38 years in total. He married his sweetheart Tonya Dea Verley on February 25, 1989 in Rock Springs and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. Dan loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with his dogs and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dan is survived by his wife Tonya Hartman; son Brandon James Hartman; mother LaDonna Hartman; brother Mark Hartman; grandson Bryce James Hartman-Hall and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Floyd L. Hartman and both sets of his grandparents. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
