Dale L. Stewart, age 59, died Thursday, February 9, 2023, at his home in Boulder, Wyoming. Born August 3, 1963, in San Bernardino, California, to Lloyd and Barbara Stewart, Dale was the fifth of six children. Dale moved to Pinedale, Wyoming, with his family in 1976, where he was a student at Pinedale High School. Dale worked as a mechanic for several local businesses and was known for his ability to fix just about anything. Dale enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing and listening to music, and golfing. Dale is survived by his mother, Barbara Hartwick of Marbleton, and his five siblings: Darlene Galea of Texas, David (Rhonda) Stewart of California, Dan (Karen) Stewart of Pinedale, Dawn (Myles) Hopkins of Boulder, Dana (Laura) Stewart of Michigan and their families. He leaves his children Danima, Marshall and Quentin Stewart and their mother Chris of Wisconsin; Dale Jr. and Michael Kawa and their mother Sandy of Boulder. Dale is also survived by his girlfriend, Carrie Totten of Boulder, and her son, Cody Karlsson whom Dale thought of as a son. Dale had many friends, along with dozens of nieces and nephews who will miss him.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 2 pm at Covill Funeral Home in Pinedale. Afterwards there will be a reception in the lobby of Aspen Grove, 280 Musket Avenue, Pinedale. Friends and family are welcome to come and share their memories of Dale.
