Dr. Charles Grove (Chuck) was born May 18, 1936 and entered into life eternal on November 1, 2022.  He leaves behind his beloved wife, Dorothy, children Beth (Paul) Kelly, Jewel (Juan Carlos) Alejos, Laurie Hill, Kristy (Roger) Henderson, Sherry Grove, and Rick (Lorrie) Grove, and the grandchildren he adored - Sean (Kim) Kelly, Brian Kelly, Alexandra (Hunter) Gits, Gabriela Alejos, Dylan Hill, Logan Hill, Payton Grove, Zoe Grove, Erika Henderson, and Jason Henderson.  Also surviving Chuck is his brother Al (Rita) Grove, sister Chris Pry, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Chuck was a lifelong educator.  After receiving his PhD from Ohio State University, Chuck became the Superintendent of Schools at Chippewa Valley Public Schools in Macomb, Michigan, Moffat County Schools in Craig, Colorado, and Sublette County Schools in Pinedale, Wyoming.  Throughout his career he built places for learning and community; his building achievement was the Pinedale Aquatic Center.

Chuck loved the outdoors, and had a particular fondness for the mountains.  He enjoyed watching sunrises over the Wind River Range from his bedroom window, and hosting gatherings of colleagues at Browns Park.

Chuck was a proud do-it-yourselfer, and always had a project going in his home.  He also loved learning about technology and computers, and was a music afficionado.

Contributions in Dr. Grove's name can be made to the Pinedale Aquatic Center or the Pinedale Fine Arts Council.  The best way to honor Chuck's legacy is to encourage a young person and celebrate your family. Chuck would have liked that.
