Charlene Lou Oldham Tracy, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2025 at her home in Big Piney. She was born on May 3, 1944 in Lander, WY to Charles and Lucille Oldham. Growing up in Lander, Wyoming, she spent her childhood surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors, fostering a lifelong love for nature. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin, her parents Charles and Lucille, her husband, Bob, her brother, Tony and sister, Nancy.

Charlene married her husband Bob in 1961.  Together, they raised three children, Dawn, Nolan, and Adam - all of whom she cherished deeply. Her nurturing spirit extended to her role as a housewife and mother, where she created a warm and welcoming home. She was the neighborhood Mom, and the family yard and house were routinely filled with friends after school and on the weekends.  Throughout her life, she embraced a variety of roles, including waitress, librarian, clerk at a sporting goods store, a successful business owner, a home health caregiver, and the animal control officer for the Town of Big Piney. Charlene had a strong work ethic.

Her favorite hobbies were rock hunting, gardening, reading, and quilting.  She treasured time spent in the mountains with her husband and children, where memories were made against the backdrop of Wyoming's rugged landscapes. An enthusiastic bowler and card player, she was a regular at the senior center. Above all, her greatest joy came from her time with her children and grandchildren, who filled her heart with pride and love.

She is survived by her children, Dawn (Howard) Moody, Nolan (Julie) Tracy, and Adam Tracy, and grandchildren Treston (Ana) Tracy, and Braeden Tracy.  Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
