Carolyn (James) Fox, age 74, returned to her heavenly home on May 26, 2022.  She is the oldest daughter of Carroll and Hazel James, who have proceeded her in death, and the sister of Steve (Mavis) James, Anna (James) Golden, and Kenneth (Janean) James.  She is survived by her siblings and four daughters, Carla (Troy) Wallentine of Bountiful, UT, Carolann (Ray) Morelock of Cottage Grove, OR, Monica (Megan) Fox of Eugene, OR and Angela (Peter) Fox of Cottage Grove, OR, along with nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Carolyn loved children.  In addition to being the best mom in the world, she dedicated her career to working with children in various school districts, child and victim advocate, and Director in the Head Start Program.

Carolyn enjoyed spoiling her family, cooking, traveling, the outdoors, and writing poems and children's story books.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and found great joy serving a mission as a temple worker in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Carolyn never knew an enemy and strangers were just friends she hadn't met yet.  She loved people and had many friends throughout her life.  She had a knack to make you feel loved.  The family would like to thank the loving staff at Legacy House of Bountiful for the excellent care they provided for her during her residency.  She truly was happy being there.

Friends are welcome to join the family in remembering Carolyn's life at the services held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel in Pinedale located at 221 E. North St., Pinedale, WY on Friday June 3, 2022 at 11:00 am.
