Betty Pearl "Bee" Pittenger, 87, passed away Wednesday January 27, 2016 at her home in Pinedale with her companion Roland "Shorty" Shelton at her side. Betty was born November 17, 1928 in Elyria, Ohio to Joseph and Helen T. Ernst. She is survived by her son Richard (Cheryl) Pittenger of San Jose, CA and life partner Shorty Shelton of Pinedale and sister Nicki Morrissetti of Jacksonville, FL. Cremation has been entrusted to Covill Funeral Home and a celebration of Betty's life will be held Sat. Feb 20th at 2:00 PM at the Shorty Shelton home (55 West Valley Rd. Pinedale, WY). In lieu of flowers donations in Betty's memory can be made to your local or nearest animal shelter or rescue. A full obituary will follow.
